That's Wyatt in the middle, innit. Always loved 'Ruth is Stranger..' and 'Rock Bottom'.
Unfortunately have never been able to grow anything remotely resembling a beard in my life. It stops after an inch or so. Tha truth! I have pubic hair on my chin.
I have have sported a beard - although not to the extent of the three gents here - my brother once accused me of looking like D.H. Lawrence, which was not my intention at all. Wonder how long it takes to get a really impressive set of whiskers? Yes, Ruth is a great album.
Yes, I was bit miffed at the time - I should add this was in the middle of an argument about a boxing match on TV which ended with him chucking his Sunday lunch over me.

Don't fear the beard.
Wonderful Riley piece played recently on Stuart Marconi's Freakzone radio prog. From 60s; sounded like it was made yesterday and released on Warp.
Wyatt - a great man.
Big admirer of Riley - great composer and theorist, and a mean saxophonist.
"my brother once accused me of looking like D.H. Lawrence" - kids, eh...they can be soooo cruel.
